Kellsie + Conner Engagement Session | Salem Engagement Photographer
You know what I’m afraid of? Hairy spiders, my local Dutch Bros. closing shop, and scary movies. You know what I’m NOT afraid of? PDA. In fact, I am all about it, especially when I’m photographing a gorgeous and super in-love couple like Kellsie and Conner, who were constantly stealing kisses and wrapping themselves up in each other throughout our 2-hour engagement session!
Our shoot started at 2pm at Deepwood Museum & Gardens, and we moved around the grounds to change things up a little bit. I love that I didn’t have to prompt them (too much) at all to lean in and get close, either.

I asked these two about their love story, and Kellsie told me they meet in High school by a mutual friends. “My friend that was Conners neighbor, and they happened to hangout one night over spring break.”
As for the proposal, she said, “It was a surprise to both of us! Conner had other plans for the proposal, but due to COVID, he asked me while we were at the beach for our 6 year dating anniversary..”
Can we talk about that ring?

What was your favorite part of the session?
The champagne toast. Aside from me yacking champagne, the pre-pour pictures are really fun and cute!
Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?
I wish we brought a blanket, this time of year the ground/sitting surfaces are wet. And blankets make a cozy picture!
How was your overall session experience?
It was a lot of fun. We have never had professional pictures taken together, but Trevee handled us well! By the end of the shoot I was more comfortable and felt much less awkward.
