In-home lifestyle newborn session

Lifestyle is usually done at your home when the baby is 5 to 30 days old. Although not common, it can happen in a studio. Pictures are less posed, focusing on everyday life and often involve everyone in the family. Your home is the perfect setting to capture the real moments in the first month with your newborn. Whether it’s the crib that took forever to put together or the countless hours rocking your baby to sleep, this helps me tailor each photoshoot to your family.

This session is to capture the natural in-home moments. I come to you. The baby can be brand new up to 30 days of age. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join. You will receive 10, 30 or 40 digital, professionally edited images to download and an online gallery for 30 days.

When you choose an in-studio session, the studio is warm to keep the little nugget asleep. They need to be fairly young, between 5 and 12 days old. The baby is more flexible and sleepy at that time, which allows us to do those adorable fun poses. This session takes time, roughly 2-3 hrs. The baby needs to be comfortable and sleepy so they can be moved without waking them. Sometimes the baby needs to take a break to eat or needs a diaper change. We work on their time, normally taking 2-4 hours.
